OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro launched: Snapdragon 765G, 65W fast-charging, and a 90 Hz OLED display

OPPO has now launched its latest set of sub-premium smartphone: the OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro. The Reno4 starts at just over US$400 and delivers a Snapdragon 765G, five cameras in total, and 65 W charging. The Reno4 Pro is the star, though, as it improves on the camera setup significantly, while adding a 90 Hz display.

OPPO's Reno series has played host to the company's sub-premium and premium phones, and the company has now added two new phones to the lineup: the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro.

The Reno4 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with a dual hole punch within which nests a 32 MP selfie camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. The phone gets a triple camera setup comprised of a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The Reno4 Pro is the star, though. It sports a bigger 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display supplied by Samsung and BOE. Unlike the regular Reno4, however, it's a 90 Hz panel. It also eschews the second selfie camera entirely, so it has a regular punch-hole housing a 32 MP camera. The rear camera setup is more impressive, however: a 48 MP Sony IMX586 main camera with OIS, a 12 MP Sony IMX708 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 13 MP telephoto camera.

Both phones are powered by a snapdragon 765G and come equipped with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The Reno4 gets a 4020 mAh battery, while the Reno4 Pro has a 4000 mAh battery, both with 65 W fast-charge support. The two phones run on the Android 10-based Color OS 7.2.
